MEL Chemicals is one of the world´s leading manufacturer of zirconium chemicals; part of the Luxfer Group, MEL Chemicals has production facilities in Manchester in the UK, in Flemington New Jersey in the USA (MEL Chemicals Inc) and Shimizu in Japan (Nikkei MEL).

MEL Chemicals has been manufacturing zirconium chemicals since the 1950’s and has been at the forefront of technology developments in zirconium chemistry. There are sales offices and technical/development facilities at all three of the sites.

MEL Chemicals produces zirconia and zirconium hydroxides, doped zirconias and zirconium salts and solutions (reactive chemicals).

MEL Chemicals Inc produces zirconia and zirconium hydroxides, doped zirconias and zirconium salts and solutions (reactive chemicals).

Nikkei MEL produces zirconium salts and solutions (reactive chemicals). With sites on three continents equipped with sales and technical facilities, MEL Chemicals is set to respond to customer needs for existing and new applications.
